This was one of our introductions to New Zealand. Our first day we had gorgeous views all over the place.
It was also on our first day that we realized Mom would be sitting in the front seat for the rest of the trip to prevent car sickness.
One day we hiked down to Cathedral Cove and this is a picture from the hike. We couldn't have asked for better weather.
In the town of Hahei, everyone has tractors to pull their boats down to the beach. We happened to be their during their town festival when everyone pulls their tractors down to the park to show them off. We mingled with the locals.
A typical sight in New Zealand. Green sheep pastures with rolling hills are everywhere!
A Redwood forest near Rotorura.
The hazy morning before our Whale watching trip in Kaikoura.
Gorgeous lake Tekapo.
Thanks to Mom and Dad for an awesome trip!
Wanaka may have been my favorite place. It was a quiet little ski town right on a lake with mountains surrounding it.
Queenstown was another awesome place on a clear, blue water lake.
